Firefox 4 and Social Media
Mozilla launched the latest version of its Web browser, Firefox, on the 22nd of March 2011; I have used it for a few hours so far with the Social Media add-on yoono, described by its author as
All your social networks and instant messaging in one easy to use app – it’s the #1 downloaded social networking add-on for Firefox. Get all your updates, update your status and share across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube & more – all at once!
And it indeed does the job – you get a real-time, very decent sidebar that seamlessly and totally integrates all your Social channels with your normal navigation.
Also, the browser itself is much faster and responsive as its earlier version, it is visually pleasant, add ons such as KwiClick turn tedious research into a one-click type of thing, Mozilla did step it up a lot to compete against the modern browsers.
Problem so far is add-on compatibility – some basic add ons such as the TOR button simply got uninstalled as it is not compatible with Firefox 4, so that’s one basic and important functionality gone until the developers release an updated compatible version.
It is currently the only add-on that will safely manage your Tor browsing to prevent IP address leakage, cookie leakage, and general privacy attacks.

Just started using Firefox 4.. It’s kinda like G.Chrome o_O I feel weird.
This info is great! Im sure this blog is one of the best on the web! Thank you again for yet another
great blog post!
