Corporatocracy in the digital age

Corporatocracy, in social theories that focus on conflicts and opposing interests within society, denotes a system of government that serves the interest of, and may be run by, corporations and involves ties between government and business. Where corporations, conglomerates, and/or government entities with private components, control the direction and governance of a country, including carrying out economic planning notwithstanding the ‘free market’ label.

Can you please put the code back up for deleting wall posts? I’d like to use the script instead of relying on the FB people to erase and not store my wallposts.

    Thx!

      Hi,

As Facebook changed its API yet again the script might not work, and even if it did anything older, pictures, cross wall posts etc, still have to be deleted manually one by one.

      Best chance is,

      http://pirate.is/rovemonteux/2011/03/31/how-to-delete-your-facebook-account/

After you have done it, you NEED to try to login again on Facebook – it will give you a text dialogue saying “your account is about to be deleted on x date, please confirm ?” – and you need to click on confirm.

About relying on the FB people to erase and not store the wallposts – FB backups will have it, apps you authorized will have it, and partners such as Yahoo you authorized via the Facebook Connect button, will have it.

Plus the people that bought the data out of the same, and the American government will probably also have it – FB ToS, as mentioned in the link above, pretty much binds anything input into the FB system as FB property.

Most we can do is get rid of it and spread the word, for people to know what actually is that FB scheme, and avoid falling in the same trap we fell ourselves.
