Few updates for the Diaspora* hosted at diaspora.happeningin.eu: I have merged most of the current Pistos patches into the happeningin branch, plus a few features programmed by me from scratch, and new server settings that made it faster, more stable, and more public for public content.

• All content marked as public is now automatically federated to all pods listed in podupti.me.
• Comment likers are now properly show within posts.
• You can now comment and like public posts from people you do not follow.
• Public posts in single view are now expanded by default, making it suitable for blogging, and are now SEO friendly and index fast and correctly within major search engines.
• New Now Trending sidebar and footer widget, basically it ranks the most spoken about subjects during a specific period of time; in diaspora.happeningin.eu this is set for the past 6 hours:

One more sidebar item in alpha testing on diaspora.happeningin.eu, Recent Public Posts. It basically shows the most commented items atm, so you can join in the conversation.

As the pod lifted the limitations on commenting to everyone comment everything, public is public and you need not add/follow the user to join in or like the discussion/subject.

The server is also synced with the official Diaspora* repository, so any patches made there will be also added to the custom happeningin branch.
